Four skeins of pure wool tweed in DK weight, flecked with contrasting fibres through an ivory ground. Tweed knits with a texture that plain yarn cannot imitate — the flecks catch the light differently across a garment and hide small tension irregularities. Two hundred grams of DK covers a hat and a pair of mittens comfortably, or the yoke of a larger garment where the tweed is used as a contrast against a plain wool.

Care & Use
Pure wool needs cool hand washing and flat drying; a warm machine wash felts it into a solid piece that cannot be recovered. Tweed sheds a little loose fleck on the first wash, which is normal. Block a finished piece to even out the stitch definition.
